Whole House Spa Retreat at Fitzsimons

Without being hyperbolic, I will say: this is most likely THE BEST VRBO I have stayed in. For starters, it was immaculately clean and exceptionally well appointed…plus it is huge. The modest appearance of the front of the house belies the care, consideration and investment in renovation the host, M, and his company have put into this home. And your good, chill dog can come too. The beds are comfy, the AC is powerful, the bathrooms are big and the Wifi is great. As someone who feels like renting a VRBO requires shared respect, awareness of others and the recognition you ARE using someone else’s “home”--the Oasis provides that and more. With the regular inpatient cancer treatment my son requires, our goal was to find a VRBO that would allow us to have a place where we–and our friends and family–could find a rest and reset as we rotate in and out of the hospital. We did…and then some. We walked back and forth to the hospital, walked the dog, walked to get coffee and walked to get food. There are multiple grocery stores less than 10 minutes away and plenty of restaurant options to the SE and to the NW. Yet it was the pet-friendly nature of this VRBO that made it feel like home. Being able to walk the dog to the courtyard to see his best buddy who could occasionally come down between treatments is an emotional lift for everyone. The neighbors are friendly, the parking is easy and–if possible–we will not stay anywhere else during this journey. Thank you, M. We will see you again.

Nice relaxing stay. Positive: The property was clean and well decorated. Although we didn’t use it, the furnished basement with another kitchen was a nice touch. Really liked the backyard also and it was comfortable. Negative: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

Beautiful, clean property. Could easily house two families! Two full kitchens, two full bathrooms, two full living spaces, washer & dryer, and very spacious bedrooms. The backyard was also very clean and well kept.As a family traveling for medical reasons, we appreciated the close proximity to the hospital. We were able to walk to and from each day (5min walk), and it helped that there was a Starbucks on our street!
